We spent our first full day in Ho Chi Minh City exploring some of the places most closely tied to Vietnam’s modern history. We visited the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum before spending the evening wandering through the centre of Saigon, taking in the traffic, lights and atmosphere of the city after dark.
