Our journey through Vietnam and Cambodia took us from the busy streets of Hanoi to the limestone islands of Lan Ha Bay, before crossing into Cambodia to explore the temples of Angkor. From Siem Reap we returned to Vietnam, travelling south to Ho Chi Minh City and the waterways of the Mekong Delta before finishing the trip among the lantern-lit streets and rice fields of Hội An.
Over sixteen days we experienced very different sides of Southeast Asia: the Old Quarter and Train Street in Hanoi, a three-day cruise through Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island, the temples of Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm, the historic centre of Ho Chi Minh City, and a day travelling through the Mekong Delta.
This story brings those individual days together into one photographic journey. Follow the trip chronologically below, with each day covering the places we visited, what we experienced and the photographs I made along the way.
